Cha Eun Woo's management company, Fantagio, later confirmed that the actor had received the invitation and said: "Cha Eun Woo is currently in the process of negotiating to appear, with quite positive prospects."
“The Wonder Fools” tells the story of “flawed” superheroes who cannot control when their superpowers appear.
The film will be directed by director Yoo In Shik - who once led the hit drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" . While the script will be written by writer Heo Da Joong of the hit movie "Extreme Job".
Notably, before that, actress Park Eun Bin was also in talks to play the main role in "The Wonder Fools". Park Eun Bin once collaborated with director Yoo In Shik in "Extraordinary Attorney Woo".
The role of an autistic lawyer helped Park Eun Bin win many prestigious awards, including the Daesang trophy at the 2023 Baeksang Awards.
According to revealed information, Park Eun Bin was invited to play the role of Eun Chae Ni, the niece of a restaurant owner. She is smart, polite, and hard-working, but as she ages, her abnormal heart condition leads to a gradual return to childish behavior, making her life increasingly dangerous.

“The Wonder Fools” is scheduled to begin filming in the second half of this year.
