On January 8, Chae Soo Bin had an interview with Korean media after the drama "When the phone rings" ended.
The actress shared about working with Yoo Yeon Seok: “Working with Yeon Seok was great. As a senior, he guided and helped me a lot on set.
I think that without Yeon Seok, things wouldn't have gone so smoothly. I'm so grateful to him. He even bought us delicious food. He's such a kind person."
In the movie, the chemistry between the two actors was so explosive that many viewers wished they would actually date.
Regarding this, Chae Soo Bin replied, “I appreciate it because it is a compliment. Maybe it is because the chemistry between Hee Joo (Chae Soo Bin) and Sa Eon (Yoo Yeon Seok) is so good that people say that.
When I watch foreign films, I often wish the main actors would actually date. I am very grateful that the audience feels that way.”
Previously, Yoo Yeon Seok revealed that the actors watched the final episode together. However, Chae Soo Bin was unable to attend because of her personal schedule.
Despite this, Chae Soo Bin still secretly watched it alone and held her breath while watching. Explaining why she didn't watch the last episode with her family, the actress said: "My father probably wouldn't be able to bear it," because the episode had many kissing scenes.
“My mom finds it interesting,” she explains. “After every episode, she says, ‘That was really good.’ My dad is usually not home when it airs, so he watches it later on Netflix.
At first, I thought my dad didn't watch it with the family because he couldn't stand my love scenes. It turned out that he went around the neighborhood, telling everyone to turn on the TV. He watched it all there and then came home to watch it again. So, maybe my dad really liked this movie too.
But the truth is, my dad couldn't bear to watch the kissing scene. He turned off the TV. He must have been so upset."
