My Linh and Duong Hoang Yen
When "Sister Who Makes Wave" season 2 aired, My Linh and Duong Hoang Yen attracted attention when they resolved the 11-year-old conflict.
In episode 2, diva My Linh had the opportunity to reunite with her former student Duong Hoang Yen since the Voice of Vietnam contest in 2013.
My Linh proactively apologized to Duong Hoang Yen for eliminating her student in live show night 6 that year, even though she had expressed that she would "go the long way" with the 9x singer from the beginning.
The singer confided that she had been troubled by that action for years: "She didn't know if she had done anything wrong to Yen or not?"
Duong Hoang Yen expressed that until now, My Linh is still the image she admires: "When I grew up and became more mature, I thought that everything that happened had its reasons! But clearly, looking back now, I have become much better."
After resolving the misunderstandings, both teacher and student felt happy to be together again in a new competition, on the same team.
Thu Phuong and Kieu Anh
Thu Phuong and singer Kieu Anh are also a coach-student pair at The Voice Vietnam 2015.
After Kieu Anh was eliminated in the semi-finals, the conflict between her and the coach became somewhat tense when the singer's family accused Thu Phuong of favoritism among the contestants.
After that, the pair unfollowed each other on social media and limited their mention of each other. After 9 years, the two female singers had the opportunity to sit down and talk.

In August 2024, the relationship between the two male artists attracted a lot of attention when Tien Luat accidentally mentioned their 8-year conflict on television.
The hidden story between the two people was explained by Neko Le that the discord occurred because both sides were affected by many sides without directly resolving it with each other: "Duy Khanh has the personality of thinking that if someone hates him, he will not talk to or contact that person."
Neko Le also revealed that the misunderstanding between the two was resolved at Puka's wedding last November.
