In front of the Eiffel Tower, singer and actor Taecyeon (2PM) knelt down and gave his girlfriend flowers and a ring. His girlfriend accepted the engagement ring and put it on the ring finger of her left hand. The two showed happy expressions as they held hands.
Notably, these photos were actually posted on April 6, 2024, nearly a year ago, but fans have only now discovered them. Many comments expressed surprise because even the news agency Dispatch, which specializes in "hunting" for celebrity news, had not discovered them.
Since the proposal happened a long time ago, many netizens speculated that Taecyeon and his girlfriend were already married. After these images were spread and discussed, the photographer deleted the post.

Taecyeon's relationship with his longtime girlfriend was first revealed in 2020. Xportnews reported that Taecyeon was dating a non-celebrity. Shortly after, the actor's agency 51K quickly confirmed the news.
In an interview with Sports Chosun, a close friend of Taecyeon said, “Taecyeon’s girlfriend is an ordinary 29-year-old office worker and they have been seeing each other seriously for about 3 years now. They enjoy dates like any other couple, even while he is in the military.”
Late last year, Osen newspaper released photos of Taecyeon and his girlfriend being seen on a date in Apgujeong District, Seoul on the night of December 15. Neither of them covered their faces with masks, and when some passersby recognized them, the couple didn't seem to mind.
They have been dating for 8 years now.

However, on the afternoon of February 5, Taecyeon's management company denied the rumor. The company said: "The marriage rumor is not true. Taecyeon has not proposed. That photo was taken when he gave his girlfriend a birthday present. Since she is not a celebrity, we were also surprised by the photo leak."
Taecyeon recently gained attention for his role as pastry chef Rick Yuan in the Japanese film "Grand Maison Paris." The film was a box office success with 2.16 million viewers in its fourth week.
The actor will also meet Korean fans at the upcoming Valentine's Day event, held on February 15-16 in Seoul.
