According to The New York Post, information from the New York Police Department (NYPD) said that Michelle Trachtenberg was found unconscious at an apartment in Manhattan.
Medical staff present at the scene confirmed her death. The New York Post reported that Trachtenberg had undergone liver transplant surgery not long before. The police said they are continuing to investigate the cause of her death, but there are no signs of foul-tinged acts.
The actress's representative, Gary Mantoosh, shared: "We are extremely saddened to confirm that Michelle Trachtenberg has passed away. The family hopes to respect their privacy during this difficult time."
