The movie "Landards: Sun in the dark" surpassed the 45 billion VND mark after 2 days of official release, according to Box Office Vietnam.
In the film, the role of Tu Dap played by Quang Tuan left a deep impression. Tu Dap is portrayed based on the portrait of the armed forces hero To Van Duc - a diligent soldier, passionate about researching and making anti-tank bombs.
This is the second time Quang Tuan has collaborated with director Bui Thac Chuyen. Previously, he played Tam in "Radiant Fate" directed by Bui Thac Chuyen.
From that opportunity, director Bui Thac Chuyen initially aimed for Quang Tuan to play Bay Theo in "Tunnel: Sun in the dark". But because he liked the character Tu Dap so much, Quang Tuan asked the director to show him the role of Tu. When he found Thai Hoa to play Bay Theo, the role of Tu Dap belonged to Quang Tuan.
To portray the character, Quang Tuan lost 14kg, with a khaki appearance.
Quang Tuan was born in 1985. He has won the Best Actor award twice in the Television Series category at the Golden Kite Awards for Binh (Paper Thip) and the Sun Song award ( Sun Song).
In cinema, he has appeared in many projects, including a series of horror and thrillers such as "Sature of the Dragon spiritual", "Invisible Evidence", "Tet in the Village of Hell", "Bong De", "Quy Nhap Trang".
He is expected by the audience to become the next hundred-billion-dong actor on the Vietnamese screen, having appeared in projects with good revenue such as "Quy Nhap Trang" (149 billion VND), "Quy Cau" (108 billion VND).
