A crazy fan caused shock when he successfully infiltrated the security team protecting a Kpop idol at the airport.

According to Allkpop, Korean netizens are in an uproar over the strange actions of a sasaeng fan (a malicious fan who specializes in following and stalking Kpop idols) at the airport.

Accordingly, on January 2, the project group Close Your Eyes appeared at Incheon International Airport to fly to Fukuoka (Japan), preparing to attend the 39th Golden Disc Awards, which will be held on January 4-5.

Member Ma Jing Xiang - who previously won first place on JTBC's boy group audition show “Project 7” and debuted in the group Close Your Eyes - was seen walking with a woman wearing a black coat and a black mask on her way to the airport gate.

In the video, the woman is seen acting as a bodyguard for the Close Your Eyes members. She puts her arm around Ma Jing Xiang's shoulder and holds her arms out to prevent reporters and other fans from approaching the male idol.

At first, everyone mistook this woman for a bodyguard, and even the other bodyguards did not notice anything unusual.

But later, when the series of photos and videos went viral online, some fans claimed that they were sasaeng fans, not security personnel.

This made the Kpop fan community very “shocked” and “gave goosebumps”. Fans expressed concern when sasaeng fans successfully infiltrated the bodyguards and blatantly touched their idols.

Security staff for the Close Your Eyes group have been criticised for failing to recognise members of their own team.

Some viewers think that in the case of a female idol, a crazy fan might do something more terrifying than a hug on the shoulder.

This is not the first time sasaeng fans' actions have caused outrage. Previously, BTS' Jungkook repeatedly "called for help" because crazy fans knew his home address and continuously bothered and followed him.
