The fact that G-Dragon (Big Bang) participated in composing a new song for Baby Monster caused a stir.

On the evening of October 7 (Vietnam time), YG Entertainment officially announced that girl group Baby Monster will release their first full album titled "Drip" on November 1, 2024.

The album consists of 9 songs, including the previously released song "Forever" and a remix of the song "Batter Up".

Thus, the audience will hear 7 new songs from Baby Monster including “Clik Clak”, “Drip”, “Love, Maybe”, “Really Like You”, “Billionaire”, “Love In My Heart”, “Woke Up In Tokyo”. The songs belong to many genres from dance pop, hip-hop, lyrical music, to R&B…

Notably, the title track “Drip” was introduced by producer Yang Hyun Suk as a dance track, with Big Bang's G-Dragon participating in the composition.

WINNER's Song Mino participated in writing the lyrics for the song "Really Like You".

Meanwhile, “Woke Up In Tokyo” will be a hip-hop song by two female rappers Asa and Ruka. They also participated in writing lyrics for this song and the song “Love In My Heart”.

In the song “Clik Clak”, all 7 members of the group Baby Monster (Ahyeon, Asa, Rora, Rami, Ruka, Pharita, Chiquita) will show off their rapping ability.

In addition, YG has changed the release time of Baby Monster's music product. Previously, the group's old songs were usually released at 0:00 Korean time, but this time the album "Drip" will be released at 13:00 Korean time, which is 11:00 Vietnamese time.

G-Dragon participated in composing a new song for Baby Monster, causing a stir in the Kpop fan community. Because currently, G-Dragon is no longer an artist of YG Entertainment.

The Big Bang leader's support for his juniors at his old company shows that his relationship with YG is still close after many scandals. Recently, the audience also saw G-Dragon sitting with producer Yang Hyun Suk at 2NE1's concert.

However, some audiences think that 9 songs for a full album, including 2 old songs, is too small a number.
