Singer G-Dragon of Big Bang is preparing to return with his third studio album Ubermensch scheduled to be released on February 25. To promote this album, G-Dragon will organize a world tour in 2025, starting from the end of March.
The male singer will have his first 2 solo concerts at Goyang Stadium, Korea on March 29-30.
While fans are extremely excited by G-Dragon's comeback after many years, online communities are arguing about his concert ticket prices.
Concerts at Goyang Stadium are sold on 3 floors. VIP and R seats will be on the first floor, S seats on the second floor and A seats on the third floor.
Prices are divided into many levels from 215,000 won (about 3.7 million VND) for VIP tickets, 182,000 won for R tickets, 160,000 won for S tickets and 149,000 won (about 2.6 million VND) for the lowest ticket class A.
But this price is only for the previous sale for fanclubs on February 26. By February 27, when tickets are on sale publicly, each ticket class will add 5,000 won.

On the online community theqoo, many Korean netizens are not satisfied with G-Dragon's concert ticket prices and are concerned about the continuous increase in Kpop concert ticket prices.
They left comments: "Ticket prices are sky-high", "If it were held there, people would still only be able to watch the big screen. So poor, The top idols are causing market ticket prices to increase, La G-Dragon should have sold out, but there is no way to reduce concert ticket prices, Its a relief that Ive stopped loving Kpop...
Korea has the most developed music industry in Asia, artists often hold concerts in this country, so domestic ticket prices are often much cheaper than Kpop artists' concerts held abroad.
But after the COVID-19 pandemic and the popularity of Kpop globally, concert ticket prices in Korea have also increased.
From 2022-2023, the VIP ticket price for BTS and Blackpink's concerts will be 220,000 won. In previous years, VIP ticket prices for top K-pop artists often did not reach 200,000 won.
However, despite controversy on forums and concerts by famous stars in Korea, tickets were still "sold out". Many fans have not been able to buy tickets because of the huge competition. Not to mention that the stadium is still filled even though ticket prices may increase even more through intermediary purchases.
Many G-Dragon fans believe that the controversy mainly comes from netizens who are not real fans or have no intention of buying tickets. As for the male artist's enthusiastic fan community, they are willing to spend a large amount of money and feel it is worth it because this is an important concert marking G-Dragon's return.
