After the Miss International 2024 journey, how does Thanh Thuy feel now? Has anything changed for you personally?
- After being crowned Miss International 2024, my emotions are still intact. The pride and happiness have not faded; until now, I feel very lucky to receive the attention and love from domestic and international audiences. That is something I truly cherish and am deeply grateful for.
The only thing that has changed for me is probably that my work has become busier and my life has become more hectic. However, in terms of personality, relationships with friends, and family life, there is no difference. I am still myself, always trying my best every day to fulfill my role and responsibility as Miss International and also Miss Vietnam.
For Thanh Thuy, what does the title of Miss Vietnam and Miss International give you and what pressure does it bring?
- The titles of Miss Vietnam and Miss International have brought me countless new opportunities. However, I also carry pressure with the expectations from the audience, but in a positive way, that is also the motivation to push me to improve myself every day.
I understand that, to be worthy of the crown and everyone's affection, I need to make an effort to spread positive values, contributing to further glorifying the image of the Vietnamese people and country in the world.
The year 2024 ends, opening a busy year 2025, how does Thanh Thuy prepare her mind?
- I am ready to accept new opportunities, new challenges, new changes. I understand that every challenge is an opportunity to grow and develop myself.
I hope to make meaningful contributions to the community and continue to spread positive values in life.
I believe that, with determination and positive spirit, 2025 promises to be a year with many memorable memories.
Looking back at 2024, do you have any regrets?
- Looking back at 2024, I have no regrets. For me, 2024 was a year full of emotions, filled with joy, happiness, and pride.
The precious memories and achievements of the past year are a great source of motivation for me to continue striving and spreading positive values. I cherish every moment and am always grateful to everyone who has been with me on this journey.
For Thanh Thuy, what does Tet mean?
- For me, Tet is always the warmest and most sacred time. No matter how busy my work and life are, I always take time to return home to my family, prepare Tet dishes with my parents, and share stories of the past.
This year, will Thanh Thuy celebrate Tet away from home or still reunite with her family?
- This year, I will still return home after finishing my work, to welcome a warm Tet holiday, gathering with my family. This is a precious time for me to bond and share joy with my loved ones.
How is family a support for Thanh Thuy after a stressful and busy journey in society?
- Family is always a solid support, a great source of motivation to help me believe in myself to overcome all difficulties.
During my journey to compete in Miss Vietnam and Miss International, I feel lucky and happy that my parents have always accompanied, followed, and supported me on every step of the way.
It is the care and love of my family that has helped me confidently move forward, continuing to conquer great goals in my life.
Can Thanh Thuy share more about her Tet holiday plans with the audience?
- This year, I will still spend the first days of the year with my family. Besides visiting relatives, friends, and relatives, my family often goes to the pagoda together to pray for peace and good things for the new year.
After that, my family will return to Co Tu Village - Dong Giang, my maternal hometown, to visit the ethnic children on the occasion of the New Year. This is also a tradition in my family that has been maintained for many years during each Tet holiday.
