On the morning of November 27, the production introduction of the movie “Harbin” was held in Seoul (Korea), with the participation of director Woo Min Ho and actors Hyun Bin, Park Jung Min, Jo Woo Jin, Jeon Yeo Been, Park Hoon, Yoo Jae Myung and Lee Dong Wook.
At the event, Hyun Bin appeared in a black outfit. The actor was praised for his handsome and stylish appearance.
The trendy glasses make Hyun Bin look even more youthful and stylish than usual. Korean press compared him to the famous Kingsman character.
At the press conference, Hyun Bin shared many contents related to the role he plays, the representative national hero of Korea - Ahn Jung Geun.
Hyun Bin confessed: “I feel very nervous, pressured and full of responsibility when portraying such an iconic character.
But on the one hand, it was great to play such a meaningful character. When filming, I was determined to put sincerity into every movement and line. In the end, it was a good choice.”
Talking about how to portray this character, the actor shared: “I think, as a human being, the hero Ahn Jung Geun will have many different emotions, including pain, disappointment, and sadness while going through the rebellion. However, I want to express the belief and will that I must walk to achieve my goal until the end.”
In addition, Hyun Bin said that in order to portray this character well, he searched for articles and read books about the hero Ahn Jung Geun, as well as searched for other traces at the memorial house. “During the 8 to 9 months of preparation and filming, I searched, studied, worried, imagined, and this process was repeated every day,” Hyun Bin said.
“Harbin” is set in 1909 and depicts Ahn Jung Geun’s group arriving in Harbin, China, on a mission to assassinate the Japanese commander, while intelligence agents from the opposing faction try to stop it.
The film will officially hit theaters on December 25.
