On the morning of April 12, Vietnam time, Lisa (Blackpink) had her first solo performance at Coachella 2025 - the largest music festival in the US.
Lisa is the first member of Blackpink to appear at Coachella as a solo singer, so the attention for her is great. Jennie is also on the list of Coachella artists this year, but will appear after Lisa, on Sunday evening (ie Monday morning Vietnam time).
Previously, Lisa performed at many famous events and stages such as the Global Citizen 2024 music festival in the UK, the MTV Video Music Awards 2024 in the US, the Victoria's Secret 2024 lingerie show, or the Oscar 2025 awards ceremony... However, Coachella 2025 is the biggest stage in Lisa's personal career to date.
Lisa's mother, friends from Thailand and many colleagues came to cheer for the female singer. In particular, Rose was seen carrying a bouquet of yellow flowers to prepare for giving to her groupmates. She immersed herself in tens of thousands of audiences and danced to the melody when watching Lisa perform on stage.
On the same afternoon, Rose posted many videos on Instagram about the moment she met Lisa backstage, gave Lisa flowers, chatted and conducted a short interview.
In particular, the video of Rose hugging Lisa on the sofa was widely shared by fans. In another video, Rose sat in Lisa's arms, playing a reporter, asking her about something interesting on stage that the audience may not know.

The close interaction between the two female idols excited fans. Some fans re-shared photos of Lisa and Rose at Coachella music festival in previous years, proving that their friendship has lasted so long.
Rose is also praised for always enthusiastically supporting the solo activities of the same group member.
Rose was the first member of Blackpink to release a full album at the end of last year. Lisa, Jisoo and Jennie all released albums earlier this year. Therefore, Rose's promotional activities were completed early, and she had a lot of free time to support the remaining members.
In February, Rose went to the cheering place when Jisoo first performed the song "Earthquake" on SBS's Inkigayo music program. In mid-March, Rose hugged Jennie's flowers to support her in Jennie's first solo concert in Korea.
Meanwhile, Lisa's performance at Coachella is receiving many positive reviews.

In about 1 hour, the Thai singer performed 13 songs, including 2 solo songs released in 2021: "Lalisa", "Money", and newly released songs in the album "Alter ego" such as "Tunder", "Fxck Up The World", "New Woman", "Moonlit Floor", "Dream" "Born again", "Elastigirl", "Lifestyle", "Rockstar"...
Billboard commented: The show was tight, creative, great and completely explosive. Lisa dominated the big stage with a large audience, danced well with a group of extremely skillful dancers and generally enjoyed the stage when performing.
Lisa's second performance at Coachella 2025 will take place on the morning of April 19, Vietnam time.
