In episode 16 of "Spacetime", Lieutenant Colonel Le Nguyen Dai (Manh Truong) and soldiers and people search for 3 children.
Photographer Tai discovered an unusual shack but thought it belonged to people collecting wild honey.
Then, the group heard gunshots and discovered wild animals shot dead. Dai intended to go into the forest to find the children but was stopped by the shaman Lang: “You have sinned against the forest god, I have sinned against my villagers. If you go in there, the forest god will keep them.”
Dai's group decided to go in for safety. They heard the sound of the crossbow and the children calling for help. However, only two children were safe, while Trang had fallen down the cliff.
Dai went down to save the child but the child suffered serious head injuries and was in critical condition. After that, the child received timely first aid and was not in danger of death.
Trang is Mr. Lang's daughter, but he still blames the soldiers for disobeying the forest god and is punished. Dai and his teammates have to subdue Trang and take her to the hospital.
After finishing the mission, Dai took Tam back to school and said goodbye to her. Seeing this scene, Tai was not happy because he had feelings for his teacher.
During his free time, Dai called his father. Mr. Nam said he had been having trouble sleeping for several days because he was worried about his son being transferred to a new unit. Dai reassured his father and told him to take good care of his health.
At the end of episode 16, Dai returns to his village to visit his father's old comrade's family. They still hold a memorial service for Dai's sister every year.
Episode 17 "Spacetime" airs at 9:00 p.m. on December 23 on VTV1.
