    According to Chosun, actor Kim Sae Ron was found dead at his home.

    At around 4:54 p.m. on February 16, Seongdong Police Station in Seoul discovered that Kim Sae Ron had passed away at his home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul.

    The police said, "Kim's friend promised to meet her today and reported the incident after the discovery."

    Police said there were no signs of criminal activities, such as outside intrusion, and are investigating the cause of death.

    Kim Sae Ron was born in 2000 and was a famous child star on the Korean screen. She started her acting career at the age of 9. As a child, Kim Sae Ron left many impressions with roles in famous movies such as A brand new life, Man from nowhere...

    In 2014, Kim Sae Ron received the 2014 Blue Dragon Award for Best New Actress for her role as Sun Do Hee in A Girl at My door. She is also the youngest actress in Korean history to be nominated for Best Actress at the Baeksang Awards.

    Previously, in May 2022, Kim Sae Ron was arrested by the police for driving while intoxicated. She crashed into a transformer on Cheongdam-dong Street, Gangnam-gu, Seoul and ran away.

    The accident caused power outages in neighboring areas, traffic lights to stop working and caused financial losses to many businesses.

    At that time, her blood alcohol concentration was 0.2%, much higher than the standard for license revocation of 0.08%.

    The actress was fined 20 million won, had a difficult career, and had to temporarily suspend all activities.
