According to Deadline, a fire in Pacific Palisades - an affluent neighborhood located between the Santa Monica Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, has caused serious damage.
A fire in the Hollywood Hills area has spread, killing at least five people and threatening about 13,000 buildings. Many mansions of famous Hollywood stars have also been burned down after the fire.
TMZ reports that Adam Brody, Leighton Meester, and Anna Faris' homes have been destroyed. Media reports say the $6.5 million mansion of the star couple Leighton Meester is engulfed in black smoke and fire.
Actress Anna Faris lived in a $4.9 million mansion in Los Angeles in 2019. The house was destroyed after a fire.
The $7.5 million mansion of actor Miles Teller and his wife in the Pacific Palisades area was also severely damaged.
Actor Mandy Moore shared a video of the fire and expressed her gratitude: "Grateful for our family and pets who escaped last night before it was too late, and infinitely grateful for the friends who took us in, lent us clothes and blankets. Honestly, I'm shocked and bewildered by the loss that has come to us."
Mandy Moore said her children's school was gone and her family's favorite restaurant was flattened. She sent her best wishes to those affected and to the authorities trying to control the situation.
Actor Billy Crystal confirmed that his family home in Pacific Palisades, where he lives with his wife Janice and two daughters, was destroyed by fire.
"Words cannot describe the terrible devastation we are witnessing and experiencing. We grieve for our friends and neighbors who have also lost their homes and possessions in this tragedy," the actor said.
He and his wife and children have lived in that house since 1979. Therefore, he was heartbroken to see the house containing memories of his family destroyed.
Paris Hilton's Malibu beach house was also destroyed in the fire. Paris Hilton posted a prayer for those affected by the tragedy.
Spencer Pratt was also affected by the fire. The TV star posted a photo taken from an interior camera before the fire engulfed the entire apartment.
“The only positive sign I saw when our house burned was our son’s bed burned into a heart shape. A sign that this house was filled with love, so grateful for all the years and memories there with our family,” Pratt said.
"General Hospital" star Cameron Mathison shared a video of the "remains" after the massive fire.
“We are safe but this is what is left of our beautiful home. The home where our children were raised and where they wanted to raise their children."
