According to Deadline, a fire in Pacific Palisades - a rich neighborhood located between the Santa Monica mountains and the Pacific Ocean, caused serious damage.
The fire at Hollywood Hill spread, killing at least five people and threatening about 13,000 buildings. Many villas of famous Hollywood stars were also burned down after the fire.
TMZ reported that Adam Brody, Leighton Meester, Anna Faris's house was destroyed. The media reported that the $6.5 million villa of the Leighton Meester star couple was engulfed in black smoke and fire.
Actress Anna Faris lived in a $4.9 million villa in Los Angeles in 2019. After the fire, the house was devastated.
The $7.5 million villa of actor Miles Teller and his wife in the Pacific Palisades area was also severely damaged.
Actress Mandy Moore shared a video of the fire and thanked: "Thank you for the family and pet running away last night before it was too late, and I am extremely grateful to the friends who gave us a room, lent us clothes and blankets. To be honest, I was shocked and felt confused by the losses that came to us."
Mandy Moore said her children's school was no longer around, and her family's favorite restaurant was flattened. She sent her best wishes to those affected and the authorities are trying to control the situation.
Actor Billy Crystal confirmed that his family's house in Pacific Palisades, where he lives with his wife Janice and two daughters, was on fire.
"No word can describe the terrible devastation we are witnessing and experiencing. We are saddened by our friends and neighbors who have also lost their homes and property in this tragedy," the actor said.
He and his wife and children have lived in that house since 1979. Therefore, he was heartbroken to see the house filled with memories of his family destroyed.
Paris Hilton's Malibu Beach house was also burned down in the fire. Paris Hilton posted a praying post for people to overcome this tragedy.
Spencer Pratt was also affected by the fire. The TV star posted a photo from a camera inside the house before the fire burned down the entire apartment.
The only positive sign I saw when our house burned down was our sons bed burning into a heart. A sign that this house is filled with love, so grateful for all the years and memories there with our family," Pratt said.
