HYBE announced on November 5 that its consolidated operating profit in the third quarter fell 25.4% year-on-year.
Of the 527.8 billion won in sales in the third quarter, direct sales from albums, concerts, and advertisements reached 323 billion won, with album/music and concert sales falling 18.8% and 14.8%, respectively.
Indirect sales increased 31.8 percent year-on-year to 204.9 billion won.
HYBE also had notable activities, such as their new global girl group KATSEYE debuted the album SIS on the Billboard 200 for two consecutive weeks.
HYBE's fan platform, Weverse, recorded 9.7 million monthly active users (MAUs), up about 100,000 from the previous quarter, though down about 900,000 from the same period last year.
With cumulative sales reaching over 1.5 trillion won in the first three quarters, HYBE hopes to achieve its annual sales target of 2 trillion won for the second consecutive year.
In the fourth quarter, HYBE plans various artist activities, including BTS' Jin, who will release his first solo album "Happy" on November 15. Seventeen, who returned in October with their 12th mini album, will continue their world tour early next year.
