Lisa had a long -standing acting debut in part 3 of HBO's best -selling movie The White Lotus, just broadcast the last episode.
Despite being highly expected, the time appeared on the screen and Lisa's role was considered too little during the film season - causing harsh criticism from international media, some people call it the biggest waste of talent.
"The White Lotus" - a black comedy revolving around the secrets and scandals took place at a exclusive luxury resort that attracted a large number of followers around the globe.
Part 3, set in Thailand, was streaming domestically via Coupang Play, with the eighth episode and also the last episode that attracted a record of 6.2 million viewers, the highest in the history of the series.
Lisa plays Mook, a charming resort, who can speak English and Thai fluently. However, her presence never goes beyond the role of a supporting character.
The British newspaper The Guardian criticized her limited role, saying that "she has too few things to do", like "Lady Gaga recruiting to the masses". Other Western media also agreed with this viewpoint, criticizing the scenario of Mook as "a bland, underdeveloped role, not worthy of a A-class K-pop star".
This is the first time Lisa has tried acting, and has both the excitement and skepticism of the public all covering her shoulder.
In a previous interview with Variety, Lisa said: "I am a fan of The White Lotus and I am very happy to be chosen to play Mook." She also admitted: "I was very worried about the first day that sweating and forgetting my dialogue."
Describing his character, Lisa said: "Mook is like me, but more feminine. I am like a tomboy girl more real life."
