ADOR held a board meeting on August 27 and announced that Kim Joo Young has been appointed as the new CEO of ADOR.
Min Hee Jin will step down as CEO, but will remain as Internal Director of ADOR, continuing to be responsible for production for the NewJeans team (Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, Hyein).
ADOR also announced that the company will separate production and management, to comply with "multi-brand" operating principles and will fully support the development and success of NewJeans.
The new CEO, Kim Joo Young, is a human resources (HR) expert with experience in various industries and will be responsible for stabilizing the organization, as well as the internal reorganization of ADOR.
Previously, at the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held on May 31, ADOR appointed a new board of directors consisting of people introduced by the parent group HYBE .
Kim Joo Young holds the position of Human Resources Director, Lee Jae Sang holds the position of Chief Strategy Officer and Lee Kyung Joon holds the position of Chief Financial Officer.
Min Hee Jin was still CEO of ADOR at that time, but her close associates including Deputy Director Shin and Director Kim were fired by HYBE.
At the meeting on August 27, Kim Joo Young officially replaced Min Hee Jin .
The conflict between HYBE and Min Hee Jin broke out in April, after HYBE suddenly conducted an audit of its subsidiary ADOR, accusing CEO Min Hee Jin and his associates at ADOR of breach of trust.
Up to now, the two sides are still arguing back and forth. Not only filing a lawsuit in court, the media war between HYBE and Min Hee Jin is still going on intensely.
Recently, HYBE provided Dispatch with many of Min Hee Jin's private messages, causing a stir.
