On the afternoon of September 6, the first girl group of The Black Label (led by producer Teddy) - MEOVV - held a press conference to introduce themselves to the media and the public. At the same time, this was also a commemorative event before the release of the group's debut song "MEOW".
All 5 members Sooin, Ella, Anna, Narin, Gawon were present at the event with neat appearance. The group's lineup is considered very harmonious, with almost equal height. Most of the members in the group are over 1m7 tall. They also showed impressive charisma, confidence unlike a newly launched beer.
After the first performance, Gawon expressed, "I'm so happy to finally introduce the song MEOW to the world. I'm really happy to stand on the stage that I've dreamed of for a long time. I'm very grateful to everyone who has supported and helped me so far."
Ella continued: “I am also extremely grateful. I think I will never forget this moment for the rest of my life. I will try to work hard to make sure that MEOVV is remembered as an excellent group."
Anna further explained the group name MEOVV: “We will perform songs that are good and have strong colors. But on the other hand, we also have a cute and gentle side. We wanted to show these two sides at the same time, so we chose the luxurious but lovely sound of a cat's meow."
MEOVV’s unique strategy to survive in the fierce battle between girl groups is individuality and harmony. Ella confidently declared: “Each member has a certain weapon, and our charm will be the best when we work together.”
According to Narin: “I think the important thing is individuality. Each person must have a clear personality, a challenging spirit to overcome limitations and a heart that respects that.”
When asked about what activities he wants to do in the future, Sooin expressed: "All I can think about is the stage. I want the whole group to sing together, and communicate with the audience through performances around the world."
Anna once again expressed the bold aspirations of a rookie: "I hope the audience will think of a clear image when hearing the name MEOVV. I want to hear everyone say: As expected of MEOVV".
While Narin expressed her determination: “We will work hard to become a group that represents the 5th generation.”
