Recently, a video clip was shared on social media recording the images of artists receiving awards at the "Male Icon Awards 2024". Notably, Mono invited "music wizard" SlimV to step up to the front row to take a photo and ignored his "brother" JSOL who was standing in the middle. This moment made JSOL's fans feel indignant, thinking that Mono intentionally ignored JSOL even though he was standing right next to him.
When the video was shared, many viewers commented that Mono was tactless when he accidentally pushed JSOL to stand behind when taking the photo. However, some viewers also said that this was just a short moment that could not fully assess the relationship between the two.
Faced with conflicting controversies about Mono's actions, "brother" JSOL had to speak up to clarify that everything happened not as rumored.
"I saw the videos from the awards ceremony but it seems like people are seeing things that are not like that. In the video, people can also see that some of the brothers let each other stand in front and I proactively stepped back to let the brothers stand up. It's all just a misunderstanding," JSOL shared with fans.
Besides, JSOL also shared more about his relationship with Mono and revealed that the two talked a lot even though they had just met for the first time at the awards ceremony that day.
JSOL's actions received much praise from the audience for quickly speaking up to protect his colleague from unnecessary controversy.
JSOL's real name is Nguyen Thai Son, born in 1997 in Quang Ninh. Although he has been active in the arts for quite a while, it was not until he participated in "Anh trai say hi" that JSOL became a notable name. Participating in "Anh trai say hi", JSOL impressed with his Kpop-style appearance and good singing and performing ability.
After "Anh trai say hi", JSOL also debuted the boy band MOPIUS with HURRYKNG, Quang Hung MasterD and Duong Domic. The male artist also collaborated in the MV "Gui chong tuong lai" by Trang Phap. At the "Male Icon Awards 2024", JSOL won the award "Popular Artist of The Year".
