On September 2, Minji NewJeans admitted that this is a difficult time for her and the group through a post on her personal page. This is also the first time NewJeans members have spoken out about the conflict between Min Hee Jin and HYBE.
"It's been almost a week, I want to tell you guys about everything that happened but I still can't do it. I want to tell the Bunnies (NewJeans fan group) who texted and comforted me that everything is okay but I don't have the confidence to do it. I feel so guilty and helpless because I can't solve anything," Minji shared on social network Phoning.
NewJeans also added that she doesn't know how long these anxious days will last and really hopes the Bunnies and the group won't have to go through any more difficult times.
Not only Minji, other NewJeans members also shared about the difficulties since CEO Min Hee Jin was fired.
"To be honest, since Director Min Hee Jin was dismissed, things have been difficult, and I have had a lot of thoughts. I have been in a state of shock and feeling very anxious," member Danielle shared.
Hanni, meanwhile, expressed her feelings through a song she composed herself. "I started writing this song in April or May of this year. At that time, the Bunnies, the members, the CEO, and I were all having a hard time, and I wanted to comfort everyone and heal their wounds. A few weeks ago, I sent it to the CEO remotely as a way to bring comfort," Hanni said before performing the song.
Shortly before, member Danielle shared a handwritten letter of support for Min Hee Jin . The NewJeans member highlighted Min Hee Jin's dedication and the positive impact she has had on NewJeans' lives and careers.
“She (Min Hee Jin) protected us with all her strength, took care of us like a true mother and a great warrior.
"Because of you, every day is brighter and happier. We love you," Danielle wrote in the letter.
Up to now, the conflict between Min Hee Jin and HYBE has not yet been resolved and is one of the most concerned scandals in Kbiz at the moment.
