According to VTV, on November 28, journalist Ta Bich Loan had a farewell party with her colleagues at Vietnam Television. In early December, the Head of Entertainment Program Production (VTV3) will officially retire at the age of 56.
Currently, the position of the female journalist's successor is still vacant and has not been announced.
As for Ta Bich Loan, after retiring, the former MC of “Nguoi Doi Thoi” continues to participate in writing scripts, coming up with ideas (formats)… for VTV programs.
Journalist Ta Bich Loan was born in 1968 into an intellectual family in Ninh Binh. Her grandfather, Ta Van To, taught at the Polytechnic University for many years. Meanwhile, the former MC's father is an economic engineer.
Guided by her family, journalist Ta Bich Loan chose to study abroad and successfully defended her doctoral thesis at Lomonosov State University (Soviet Union, now Russian Federation). After returning home, Ta Bich Loan began working at VTV in 1996.
From 1996 to 2007, journalist Ta Bich Loan held the position of Deputy Head of Sports - Entertainment - Economic Information Department, becoming a "powerful woman" at VTV3.
In the next 10 years, Ta Bich Loan changed positions to VTV6 channel, taking on the role of Head of VTV6 Youth Department.
In 2017, Ta Bich Loan returned to VTV3. Over the years, the famous woman from Ninh Binh has successfully fulfilled her role as Head of Entertainment Program Production and Director of VTV3.
During her many years in the profession, Ta Bich Loan has been loved by audiences nationwide. Journalist Ta Bich Loan is considered the soul of many famous television programs such as “Contemporary People”, “Road to Olympia”, “Seven Colors of the Rainbow”, “Sunday at Home”, “Contemporary Stories”, “Start-up”…
Besides working at Vietnam Television, journalist Ta Bich Loan is also Head of the Radio and Television Department at the Institute of Journalism and Communication, Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Forbes Vietnam magazine once ranked journalist Ta Bich Loan among the top 50 influential women.
