At the American Music Awards 2026 (AMAs) held in Las Vegas, the group TWICE was named in the "Best Kpop Female Artist" category.
AMAs is considered one of the biggest music awards ceremonies in the US, alongside the Grammy Awards and Billboard Music Awards. This victory marks TWICE's first award at AMAs, also marking the first victory of a Kpop girl group at this award.

According to AllKpop, this award is decided entirely by fan votes. Therefore, TWICE's victory is considered proof of the group's international influence and strong fandom.
Currently, TWICE members are on a world tour "THIS IS FOR", starting in Incheon in July last year. The tour has a scale of 78 shows in 43 cities around the world.
TWICE's North American tour ended in April, including 35 performances in 20 cities, attracting a total of 550,000 spectators. This achievement helped the group set a record for the largest number of spectators in a Kpop girl group's North American tour.
In Japan, TWICE also made history when they became the first foreign artist to hold a concert at the Tokyo National Stadium. During 3 days of performance, the group attracted a total of 240,000 fans.
After 12 years of debut, TWICE still maintains strong attraction in the international music market. The group is currently continuing their European tour, after completing performances in Lisbon, Barcelona, Paris, Turin, Berlin and Cologne.
According to the schedule, TWICE will perform in Amsterdam (Netherlands) on May 30 and 31.
