The 2018 Oscar is curious about the awards

    The 90th Oscar Film Awards Ceremony started at 5am on March 5 (Vietnam time) with a red carpet event, and officially took place at 8am.

    Until the 90th Academy Awards, the Academy was still very curious about the Best Feature Film race and some other categories.

    The Shape of Water tops the 2018 Oscar nomination list when it was nominated in 13 categories, including Best Feature Film. Record-less achievements went to All About Eve (1950), Titanic (1997) and La La Land 2017 with 1 nomination.

    This year's 9 feature films competing for Best Feature category include Call Me by Your Name, Darkest Hour, Dunkirk, Get Out, Lady Bird, Phantom Thread, The Post, The Shape of Water, and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

    The Shape of Water has a certain advantage when it won the Critics' Choice Award, DGA by the Directors Association, and PGA by the Producers Association.

    Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri had important victories at the Golden Ball (Dramatic Feature Film category), SAG of the Actors' Association, and BAFTA of the British Academy.

    The WGA Awards from the Screenwriters Association were presented to Get Out and Call Me by Your Name.

    The Documentary Award went to Icarus - a work revolving around doping abuse in sports in Russia.

    Sam Rockwell received his first important award, the Best Supporting Actor award at the 2018 Oscar.
