According to Koreaboo, while promoting her upcoming album “rosie,” Blackpink idol Rose has been praised for her honesty in interviews about a variety of topics, including toxic relationships.
Recently, Rose's shares on the comedy podcast "Therapuss with Jake Shane" continued to receive sympathy.
Rose mentioned her anxiety, and at one point, host Jake Shane pointed out that the Blackpink vocalist had been playing with a softball during the interview.
Rose explains that the ball is like a “driver,” and whenever she has a meeting or something to do, she always brings it on her desk, because Rose “can’t work without it.”
“I just have anxiety,” the singer continued. “Like, I don't know if it's ADHD. I don't even know what it is, but I need this, and once I have it in my hand, I can focus.”
When asked how long she has been suffering from anxiety, Rose explained that she only noticed it recently and that it has gotten worse over the past few years.
Rose even pointed out that people who worked with her before and then came back noticed a change in her.
It can be difficult to explain your worries to others, but Rose adds that with the help of the stress ball, she can now express herself better. She admits that while some people need a “smoke break,” she needs a five-minute “break.”
Also on the show, when a listener confided that she was having a midlife crisis because she felt pressured to get married, have children, and have a house, Rose shared her views on the definition of "happiness".
“I always wondered why getting married and buying a new house are considered happiness. Some people have had painful experiences because of those things, so sometimes I feel very happy being a single girl. So I think these things should not be considered the definition of happiness,” she said.
