After many "teasers", Rose officially announced the release of her first full-length album in her career.

Late on October 1 (Vietnam time), Kpop idol Rose of Blackpink announced that she will release a new album called "Rosie" on December 6, 2024.

This is Rose's first full-length album in her career, consisting of 12 songs. To date, Rose is the first member of Blackpink to announce the release of a full album.

In her latest Instagram post, Rose shared: “I can't believe I can finally tell you all about the release of my first album.

I remember last year, when our year-long tour ended, I found myself here in Los Angeles. Which led to a year of being in and out of the studio, writing songs with musicians and producers I was meeting for the first time, trying to figure out the next chapter in my career.

I’ve fallen asleep many nights feeling confused and lost. But with the support of my dear friends and family, my team, and of course my “number 1s” (fans), I sit here today excited to announce the album release date.

I put my blood and tears into this album. I can't wait for you to hear this little diary of mine.

Rosie - that's what my friends and family call me. With this album, I hope you all will feel a little more familiar with me. And yes, it is a full album. December 6th.”

Previously, at the end of September, Rose signed a contract with a major American record label - Atlantic Records, which brings together many famous stars such as Charlie Puth, Cardi B, Ava Max, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Lizoo, Gayle...

Rose created a separate Instagram account called vampirehollie to update about her new music project. "Vampirehollie" is the name of the song that the female singer revealed on her birthday in February this year.

At the end of 2023, all four members of Blackpink did not renew their individual contracts with YG Entertainment. While Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo each established their own companies, Rose signed an exclusive contract with producer Teddy's The Black Label in June this year.
