According to Korean media, SBS's movie "Taxi Driver 3" continues to set a new rating record before the final episode, dominating both television, online platforms (OTT), and discussion rankings.
In episode 14 just aired, "Taxi Driver 3" topped the broadcast time slot on all channels with a national average rating of 14.2% (according to Nielsen Korea) - the highest since airing, affirming its position as one of the most influential Korean films of this season.
The film continues to conquer audiences with dramatic and emotional revenge stories, where the "Rainbow Taxi" team, on behalf of justice, punishes evil when the law is powerless.
The film also leads the rating of key audiences of 20-49 years old, reaching an average of 4.8% and the highest is 5.75%, ranking 1st in all programs broadcast during the New Year 2026.
Returning after two years since part 2, "Taxi Driver 3" is highly appreciated thanks to its cinematic standard staging style; closer, more emotional collective connection; the common universe is increasingly expanding and the cast is strong, leaving a deep impression.
The film's growth momentum was also boosted when Lee Je Hoon - who plays Kim Do Gi - won the Daesang (Big Award) at the SBS Drama Awards 2025. This is his second Daesang cup with the "Taxi Driver" brand.
The work itself also affirms the appeal of a "national TV series" when it won the TV Series of the Year award, and the cast harvested a series of other awards from SBS.
The appeal of the film does not stop at television ratings. "Taxi Driver 3" ranks No. 1 in the TV-OTT Drama category on the FUNdex chart of Good Data Corporation (week 1 of January 2026). Lee Je Hoon leads the TV-OTT actor discussion chart.
Taxi Driver 3" also occupies 1st place in overall content (TV series, movies, entertainment shows) on KinoLights, and maintains the number 1 position on Netflix Korea.
On IMDb, the film achieved an average score of 9.2/10 for episodes 1-14 (as of January 6th).
These achievements show that "Taxi Driver 3" is among the few works that can simultaneously dominate television, online platforms and global interest at the present time.
According to revelations about the last 2 episodes, the final revenge mission will take place inside a military base, promising to be the most tense and fierce campaign ever.
Veteran actor Kim Jong Soo will play the last villain Oh Won Sang, while Jeon So Nee confirms a special appearance, further making audiences expect an emotional and climactic ending.
