    Jennie (Blackpink) has just returned with the new single “Mantra”. This song is not only Jennie's first solo music release in 1 year since "You & Me", but also her first official song since leaving YG Entertainment to establish her own company ODD ATELIER (OA).

    Korean audiences gave different reactions to the post. Some agreed with the above comment. Meanwhile, others said that Jennie's sexy outfit completely suited the style of the song "Mantra".

    Despite the controversy, Jennie is reaping many impressive achievements with this comeback.

    The MV "Mantra" attracted 14.4 million views after 1 day of release, has now reached 20.7 million views after 2 days, and is ranked Top 1 on YouTube's global trends.

    Notably, “Mantra” set a record as the first female K-pop solo artist's song to reach No. 1 on the US iTunes chart in 2024, surpassing Lisa, whose “New Woman” previously reached No. 2.

    On Spotify - the world's largest streaming platform, "Mantra" debuted at No. 5 on Spotify's global daily chart, with 5,247,858 streams.

    Jennie continues to set records with the biggest debut by a Korean solo artist in Spotify history. Among female K-pop solo artists (all nationalities), Jennie is only behind Lisa with "New Woman" (6 million streams) and "Rockstar" (5.8 million streams).

    On the US Spotify chart, Jennie is the female Kpop solo artist with the biggest debut with 559k streams for "Mantra", surpassing Lisa's "New Woman" with 544k streams.

    Additionally, “Mantra” debuted at No. 50 on Apple Music’s global daily chart, marking the highest first-day performance by a K-pop solo artist this year.
