On the evening of February 26, the film "Anh trai say hi: The villain creates a hero" officially hit theaters. Including early screenings, the film earned 5.3 billion VND, according to Box Office Vietnam statistics.
The film reviews the hits "Catch me if you can", "Sao hang A", "Walk", "Tinh dau qua cuon"... and reveals stories that the brothers have never shared such as challenges, pressure, and the process of participating in the program.
However, the appearance period of the "brothers" has a significant difference. "Hot" faces such as HIEUTHUHAI, Quang Hung MasterD, Duong Domic, RHYDER, Hurrykng and Phap Kieu were present in many Re-shelved performances, with long interviews.
Meanwhile, some singers did not have personal interviews, nor did they have performances incorporated into documentaries.
For 120 minutes, Lou Hoang and Pham Anh Duy did not appear in any scenes except for the song "Say hi never say goodbye" with all 30 contestants at the beginning of the film. They only took pictures for a few seconds in their singing part.
The series of "brothers" Anh Tu, Anh Tu Atus, Erik, Song Luan, Ali Hoang Duong, Quang Trung, Gin Tuan Kiet, Duc Phuc, Vu Thinh also had a short time, not leaving an impression in the documentary looking back on the journey of Anh trai say hi.
Although the documentary is short, unable to cover the entire journey of 30 people, the development journey from TV show to entertainment brand, the audience still thinks that singers appearing too few is a disadvantage.
Fans also argue about the fact that the characters with many fans appear densely, both in private interviews and the songs they participate in, while some people are almost "in-form".

In this documentary, Tran Thanh also appeared obscure, instead of the concerns of Music Director JustaTee. Many audiences regretted not being able to see the story behind MC Tran Thanh's stage, because he was an important contributor to the success of Anh trai say hi.
"Anh trai say hi: The villain creates a hero" is a special experience for the audience to access the authentic, close aspects of the brothers behind the stage, while recreating on the big screen the moments that fans and the brothers have spent together at 4 concert nights in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi in 2024.
The champion of Anh trai say hi - HIEUTHUHAI shared: "The film is a very touching thing for me, marking for myself and giving the 30 brothers a milestone in my career journey. This result is a sweet fruit after the difficult and skeptical days of the brothers here.
