Information about the girl group XYNTRA including Dieu Nhi, Duong Hoang Yen, Hau Hoang was announced on the evening of January 3.
Dieu Nhi said that the idea of forming a band and releasing a new song had been in her mind for 4 years. Many viewers were also surprised when the 3 "Sisters" of Sister Who Makes Wave season 1 and season 2 gathered together and formed a band.
Some people think that with 3 members, the public will remember the members more easily. Duong Hoang Yen will be in charge of the vocals, Hau Hoang will be a good dancer, and Dieu Nhi will have her own charm to attract fans.
XYNTRA is the third group to come out of Sister Who Makes Wave. Previously, LUNAS and Vibe Queens were two girl group projects from "Sister" season 1.
LUNAS has a lineup of many famous faces such as Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc, season 1 champion Trang Phap and beauties such as Huyen Baby, Khong Tu Quynh, Huyen Baby.
However, after releasing a few products, the group has not left much of an impression, and their music is considered unattractive and not suitable for Vietnamese audiences' tastes.
Meanwhile, Vibe Queens is a pilot project of Luu Huong Giang and Phuong Vy. After the song was released, the two singers have no plans to implement this model long-term because it has not created a good effect.
With XYNTRA, the group will release a behind-the-scenes MV before the official MV release. This sequence is different from the usual MV release schedule because the behind-the-scenes will be posted a few days after the MV.
The group introduced themselves to the audience at the fan meeting event of Anh Tu Atus - Dieu Nhi's husband. The 3 members Dieu Nhi, Duong Hoang Yen, Hau Hoang have been close since the program Sao Nhap Ngu 2021.
However, the audience is still skeptical that XYNTRA can succeed after the lessons of the 2 girl groups from the show Sister and many girl groups that have debuted in Vietnam.
In terms of recognition, Duong Hoang Yen or Hau Hoang are not "hot" names, while Dieu Nhi has higher recognition but is often associated with singing with a lisp or out of tune to make people laugh.
In season 1, Dieu Nhi did not make it into the group. In season 2, Hau Hoang was eliminated in the 4th performance, without a large fan base; and Duong Hoang Yen did not have an impressive performance.
XYNTRA will join the music race with a series of groups coming out of reality shows such as B.O.F, Mopius.
The music groups, which gather many famous artists, are expected to bring a new breeze to Vietnamese music.
