The contest attracted 294 excellent teachers from educational institutions in the province to participate, aiming to honor and replicate advanced models in education.
The contest focuses on innovating methods of organizing educational activities, creatively applying measures in schools to improve the quality of homeroom work and testing and evaluating towards developing students' abilities.
This is also a key task in the process of educational innovation according to Resolution No. 29 of the Party Central Committee.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Thai Van Thanh, Director of Nghe An Department of Education and Training, emphasized the important role of homeroom teachers in connecting social forces, comprehensively managing students and coordinating with parents to educate soft skills, helping students develop comprehensively.
In the context of implementing the 2018 General Education Program and the development of artificial intelligence, teachers need to be flexible, creative and have digital capacity to reach students, connect families and schools.
The contest is an opportunity for teachers to demonstrate their abilities, exchange experiences and contribute to promoting the quality of education in the whole province.
The contest is planned to be held for 3 weeks at Cua Lo 1 High School, Cua Lo 2 High School, Nghi Loc 3 High School and Nghe An Province Continuing Education Center.
According to regulations, each teacher participating in the exam must go through 2 exam contents. The first part of the competition is Presenting 1 measure to contribute to improving the quality of homeroom work taking place from March 10-13. Teachers can present briefly for no more than 10 minutes, combined with slides to present photos, documents... to convince the judges. The second part of the exam is to practice one session of organizing educational activities.
