The average score of the subjects in the top 10 nationwide includes: Literature ranked 9th out of 64 nationwide (7,094 points, 35,883 candidates), 2nd out of 6 Mekong Delta; Biology ranked 10th out of 64 nationwide (5,812 average scores, 3,662 candidates), ranked 1/6 of the Mekong Delta; History ranked 7th/34 nationwide (6,650 points, 17,207 candidates), ranked 2nd out of 6 Mekong Delta; Geography ranked 10th/34 nationwide (6,724 points, 15,601 candidates), ranked 3rd out of 6 Mekong Delta; Economic and Legal Education ranked 8th (7,810 points, 7,465 candidates), ranked 1/6 of the Mekong Delta; Technology - Industry ranked 9th (6,151 points, 248 candidates), ranked 3rd out of 6 Mekong Delta.
The subjects with 10 points are IT (3 candidates) ranked 8th out of 64 nationwide, 2nd out of 6 Mekong Delta; IT (4 candidates) ranked 10th out of 64 nationwide, 3rd out of 6 Mekong Delta; English (3 candidates) ranked 9th out of 64 nationwide, 1/6th out of 6 Mekong Delta.
The total number of candidates recognized as graduating is 99.14%, down 0.53% compared to 2024, of which 70/138 (50.72%) of units have achieved a 100% high school graduation rate.
According to the leader of the Department of Education and Training of An Giang province, the reason for the reduction in the rate is that this is the first exam according to the 2018 General Education Program, the exam is differentiated in a new direction, in which English and Math are considered difficult, the formula for calculating the scores for considering high school graduation recognition changes must use transcript scores for all 3 school years of grades 10, 11, and 12.
Right from the beginning of the school year, the Department has directed schools to focus on improving quality, strengthening teaching work, and effectively managing the teaching of guidance for weak children who have not yet acquired knowledge, selecting experienced and professional teachers to train them to ensure enough knowledge to participate in the exam and achieve good results.
The Department also informed that the 2025 high school graduation exam in An Giang province has 36,908 candidates registered to take the exam, arranged at 77 exam locations. The graduation exam exemption program has 17 candidates with severe disabilities; The graduation special program has 8 candidates with illnesses before the exam day. By the end of the exam, the An Giang Provincial Examination Council had a total of 117 absent candidates.
