That is the viewpoint of many high schools in Bac Lieu before the 2025 high school exam season. Before the Department of Education and Training organized the exam, high schools and vocational training centers had organized at least one exam at the school level or in school clusters. On that basis, schools and centers classify and increase review for students with undercated scores.
For the general test sessions of the Department of Education and Training, schools and centers continue to classify and focus on reviewing for students in high-risk, high-risk and medium-risk groups until the exam date.
Mr. Tran Van them - Principal of Tan Phong High School (Gia Rai Town) - said: The organization of high school graduation exam helps students draw experience in taking the test, psychological stability, adjusting time and amount of knowledge for each subject. At the same time, through the tests, they will see the current ability for registered subjects, from which there is an appropriate preparation method. Teachers and school teachers will also assess the teaching and review process. Since then, there is a basis for classifying students, developing auxiliary plan in accordance with their learning capacity, contributing to improving the high school graduation rate of the unit.
According to the evaluation of the Department of Education and Training, in all 3 tests, the exams of many basic subjects ensure the right according to the construction matrix built and fit students. The organization of the exam has achieved the set goals, which is to help the 12th grade students get acquainted with the high school graduation exam in 2025. Especially help them consolidate and review the learned knowledge and learn from experience, supplement the knowledge that is weak and lacking. In addition, through 3 tests, it also helped schools to practice organizing high school graduation exams in 2025, promptly adjust and learn from experience to prevent errors in the process of organizing real exams.
Test to have better review conditions
Nearly 6,600 grade 12 students of high schools and vocational education centers in the province participated in the 3rd high school graduation exam organized by the Department of Education and Training. Of which, 6,127 students are in the general education system (GDPT) and 467 students are in the GDTX system.
Candidates will take the test according to the general exam questions of the Department of Education and Training with the content and structure closely following the reference exam questions for the 2025 high school graduation exam announced by the Ministry of Education and Training.
For the GDPT system, candidates take 4 exams including: Literature, Math, English and one of 2 combinations of Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or Social Sciences (History, Geography, Civic Education). Candidates in the education and training system take 3 exams: Literature, Math and 1 optional combination; in English, candidates can register for the exam or not take the exam depending on their needs. In which, Literature will be tested in the form of an essay; the remaining subjects will be tested in multiple-choice format.
According to the report of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu, the results of the third exam show that the number of GDPT candidates with average or higher scores is quite high in most subjects. Literature has 6,012 candidates with a score of 5 or higher (88.76%); English has a rate of 74.89%; Physics 59.65%; History 85.3%; Geography 71.73%; Biology 78.78%; Economic and legal education 98.18%; IT 100%; Industrial technology 62.5%; Agricultural technology 100%.
In addition, there are 2 subjects with an average score of 5 or higher reaching less than 50%: Chemistry reaching 42.5% and Math reaching 30.03% (19,976 candidates).
The leader of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu province said: Through the test competitions, students are classified to review better with the goal of achieving the highest official exam results.
