Mr. Dang Tran Minh (An Giang), is an equipment and laboratory officer at the high school. The principal has just decided to appoint Mr. Minh as the Head of the Office Group. In addition, Mr. Minh is concurrently the Deputy Secretary of the School Youth Union.
Mr. Minh asked, will he receive the position allowance of 0.25 for Team Leader and the responsibility allowance of 0.25 for Deputy Secretary?
The Ministry of Education and Training responded to this issue on the Government Electronic Information Portal as follows:
In Section IV of Circular No. 33/2005/TT-BGDDT, the coefficient of allowance for professional group leaders and equivalent in high schools (regardless of school rank) is 0.25.
In case the Youth Union and Association officials are lecturers, teachers or non-lecturers, teachers holding positions with allowances equivalent to or higher than the allowances of the Head of Department, Deputy Head of Department, Head of Department, Deputy Head of Department, Deputy Head of Department, Head of Professional Group, Deputy Head of Professional Group, they will receive the highest allowance (in Clause 2, Article 2 of Decision No. 13/2013/QD-TTg dated February 6, 2013 of the Prime Minister, the Secretary of the Youth Union, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of high schools will receive the same allowance as the Head of Professional Group).
