In 2023, the admission score based on the high school graduation exam results for the Chemical Defense Officer School is 20.95 points for male candidates from the North.
Male candidates from the South have an admission score of 22.55 points. For candidates with the same score, the school requires the first additional criterion to be a Math score of at least 6.8 points; the second additional criterion is a Physics score of at least 8.25 points.

In 2024, the enrollment target for military university training in the Chemical Engineering Command major of the Chemical Defense Officer School is 43. Specifically, candidates with permanent residence in the North are allocated 26 slots; 17 slots are allocated for candidates with permanent residence in the South. Among them, 3 students will be selected for overseas training.
From July 30, the online registration portal for university admission aspirations for 2024 of the Ministry of Education and Training has closed.
