The Ministry of Education and Training is seeking opinions on the opinions synthesis, acceptance, and explanation of comments on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on a number of specific and outstanding mechanisms and policies to implement breakthroughs in education and training development.
Sending comments, Ms. Pham Thi Dung (BrayBhang commune) said that the current salary of employees is very low, the working process is 18, 19 years in the profession, there is no seniority allowance, specific work.

Therefore, Ms. Dung earnestly hopes that the Ministry of Education and Training will pay attention to the lives of school staff, to receive 30% of the allowance according to Resolution 71.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuong - Hop Thanh Primary and Secondary School, Yen Thanh Commune, Nghe An Province shared that as a school library employee, she has worked in the industry for 20 years but her new salary is 8 million VND/month.
"My friends who are workers asked why I have such a low salary while I have a university degree, not the salary of a new garment worker.
Therefore, I respectfully hope that competent authorities will consider the income of school staff, and that there is no allowance other than the basic salary, which is appropriate, while we are also people in the education sector" - Ms. Thuong expressed.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Hanh (Huong Can commune, Phu Tho province) - is a school library employee, working for 13 years. Hearing the news of Resolution 71 of the Politburo mentioning that school staff are entitled to 30% allowances, Ms. Hanh was both happy but also worried, because currently, school staff working in the same education sector have not received any policies: No seniority, no allowances, no promotions.
"Living comfortably with a small salary. Go to work 8 hours a day, and work all kinds of extra work. We hope that leaders will pay attention and give employees a worthy discount, seniority, and promotion. Because employees are also dedicated, also contributing to the development of education" - Ms. Hanh expressed her wish.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Sang (Thinh Thanh Secondary School, Van Du, Nghe An) affirmed that the regulation that school staff are entitled to a minimum preferential allowance of 30% is a very humane policy.
"Currently, we work in the education sector but do not receive any allowances other than the basic salary. We were assigned many concurrent tasks but were not paid additional concurrent fees. We feel left behind by the policy" - Ms. Sang said.
Regarding the above recommendations, the Ministry of Education and Training said that Clause 2, Article 1 of the Draft Resolution has specifically stipulated preferential allowances for school staff. In addition, the Ministry of Education and Training is currently drafting a Decree regulating preferential allowances to submit to the Government, which includes specific regulations on the roadmap for increasing allowances.
