Accordingly, the threshold for ensuring input quality, the minimum score for candidates to submit their admission applications to the school, is 19 points and 25.5 points, respectively applied to majors considered on a 30 and 40 scale.
The above score is calculated based on the total score of high school graduation exams according to the admission combination, plus priority points for areas and subjects according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
The school also forecasts that the admission scores for majors this year will decrease by 1 - 3 points compared to 2024, especially majors with a combination of Math and English.
Last year, the highest admission score based on the high school graduation exam scores of the Academy on a 30-point scale was 27.43 points, majoring in Economic Law. With a scale of 40, the major with the highest benchmark score is Business Administration (CLC) with 33.33 points

In 2025, the Academy will enroll 11 training majors, 18 standard training programs, 05 high-quality programs taught in Vietnamese and 03 high-quality programs taught in English.
In addition to traditional methods such as direct admission, priority admission according to the Ministry's regulations, admission based on high school graduation exam results, the Academy also uses the results of international competency certificates (SAT, ACT, A-Level...) or the results of competency assessment and thinking assessment exams organized by Hanoi National University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Academy of Policy and Development plans to announce the equivalent conversion score table between methods before 5:00 p.m. on July 22.
The Academy has conducted analysis, statistics and determined the corresponding score ranges between methods. The Academy has calculated and proposed a specific linear conversion formula for each point range.
The general principle is that the candidate's admission score will be determined based on the actual scores that the candidate has achieved, compared with the corresponding score range in the conversion table to apply the prescribed formula.
It is expected that on August 20, all universities across the country will simultaneously announce the benchmark scores for 2025.
