Immediately after knowing the high school graduation exam scores, candidates began to register and adjust their admission wishes (unlimited number of times) between July 16 and 5:00 p.m. on July 28.
Immediately after that, many universities announced the admission floor score for 2025. This is the minimum score that candidates need to achieve to be able to register for admission.
For the pedagogical and health science majors, the floor score was announced before 5:00 p.m. on July 23.
The floor score is the minimum score prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training or universities for each major and each admission method. This is an important basis for candidates to consider adjusting their admission wishes to suit their abilities and admission opportunities.
At present, 15 schools have announced the admission floor score.
In the Northern region, Hanoi National University announced the admission floor score based on high school graduation exam scores; Hanoi National University's competency assessment test score is 19 points.
The admission floor score of Hanoi National University of Technology in 2025 ranges from 22 - 24 points.
In the Southern region, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology offers a floor score of 15 points for admission methods.
At Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry, the floor score based on high school graduation exam scores is 16 points. The teacher training sector alone is implemented according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
The schools: University of Natural Sciences, VNU-HCM; University of Finance - Marketing; University of Industry, HCMC, etc. have also announced their floor scores.
For the military schools, Colonel Do Thanh Tam, Secretary of the Military Admissions Committee, Ministry of National Defense, said that the expected entrance exam score for military schools in 2025 is from 18 points.
