General requirements for candidates applying for all admission methods are as follows:
- Have academic performance ranking results for grades 10, 11 and first semester of grade 12 at high school level of 6.5 or higher;
- Conduct in grade 10, grade 11 and first semester of grade 12 at high school level is rated Good or better.

The admission method is based on the results of the high school graduation exam
- For majors/majors in group 1, group 3 and group 4 (with main subject combination multiplied by coefficient 2): Total score of 3 subjects multiplied by coefficient: Floor score is 25 points.
- Majors/majors in group 2: Total scores of 3 subjects are not multiplied by coefficient. The minimum admission score is 18.0 points.
This score includes test scores according to admission combination, priority scores for subjects and regions.
For combined admission method
Candidates are admitted using the combined method into Journalism programs: The overall average score of 5 semesters of high school Literature (excluding the second semester of grade 12) is 7.0 or higher.
Candidates are admitted by combination method to programs in major group 4, Sociology major, Publishing major, Publishing Editing major in major group 2: Overall average score of 5 semesters of high school English ( excluding the second semester of grade 12) with a score of 7.0 or higher.
Candidates are responsible for the application conditions (academic performance, conduct) according to the Academy's regulations. In case a candidate passes the admission test but does not meet the application requirements, the Academy will not recognize admission.
This year, the academy enrolls 2,050 students, an increase of 100. The school spends 15% of the quota to consider academic transcripts, 15% to consider candidates with international certificates combined with transcripts, and the remaining 70% to consider test scores. high school graduation.
The Academy of Journalism and Communication plans to charge a tuition fee of 507,000 VND/credit, applicable to mass programs.
