Among these four new students, there are Pham Minh Tien and Nguyen Hao Thien, close friends and students of Le Thanh Tong Secondary School (HCMC).
Both have participated in many major academic competitions in the city, and now Minh Tien and Hao Thien are both valedictorians of the Polytechnic University, studying Computer Science, Teaching and Learning program. study in English.
Among them, Minh Tien is the entrance valedictorian in the comprehensive admission method with a total score of 95.62. Hao Thien is the valedictorian of block A1 nationwide and is also the top student on the list based on high school exam scores with 29.8 points.
Minh Tien and Hao Thien studied together in grades 10 and 11 at Le Thanh Tong Secondary School. In 12th grade, we split into two different classes but still often played together.
Talking about themselves, Minh Tien and Hao Thien are both very modest, but when it comes to each other, they both express admiration, especially for their friend's abilities.
Although they are close friends who "study well", according to the two new valedictorians, the times they meet are mostly for side conversations rather than studying.
"We mainly study on our own. With homework assigned by teachers, each person will complete the task on their own. If I encounter difficulties, I will often go to teachers for answers," Minh Tien shared. .
Hao Thien said he has a passion for programming, so he decided to study Computer Science at Polytechnic University. "My goal was very high, so I tried very hard to study. There was a time when I studied from 6 a.m. this morning to 2 a.m. the next morning," Hao Thien said.
Talking about their future plans, both said they have not made detailed plans but will study while orienting themselves to create flexibility for both studying and other activities, but the common spirit is to try to study well. .
The remaining two excellent new students include Pham Nhu Ha Linh (Nguyen Du High School for the Gifted, Dak Lak province) who is the female student with the best entrance results with a total score of 93.02 in the comprehensive admission method and Dinh Quoc Thinh ( Nguyen Trai High School, Khanh Hoa) is the valedictorian based on the competency assessment score of 1,080 points. Quoc Thinh is also the salutatorian of the comprehensive method.
