Today, December 9, more than 120 students in grade 4 of Tay Tuu A Primary School (Tay Tuu, Hanoi) had a very special day of study. Without white paintings or blackboard, students can experience the reality of the 66th Hoashanks Department Company, Brigade 86 (Chemical Corps, Ministry of National Defense) through the following activities: sightseeing, practicing domestic medicine; learning combat weapons; experiencing the contents of weapons, martial arts and training soldiers, etc.
This is the content of the topic "Celebrating the founding day of the Vietnam People's Army and interacting with soldiers" organized by Tay Tuu A Primary School.
In the stage area, the two students in grades 4 and 5 are confident in taking on the role of bilingual MC (English and Vietnamese). At the same time, teachers also integrate English in the process of organizing activities, contributing to building a natural English communication environment for students.

The students confidently spoke English fluently on stage. Below the stands are the applause of students, teachers and parents.
Nguyen Kim Huyen Trang, a student in class 4A3, said that taking on the role of bilingual MC made him a little nervous and worried, but the encouragement and support of friends, teachers, and parents in the stands helped him become more confident.

"I practiced my conducting for about a week. I find today's session much more interesting than just studying in class" - Huyen Trang said.
Dinh Thi Quynh Anh - a student of class 4A3 said that through the experience, she was most impressed with the turban-covered learning of the soldiers; introduced to the unit's specialized vehicles.
"I will practice folding the blanket and square it at home. Through today, I want to become a soldier in the future because I feel that helps me practice my discipline better" - Quynh Anh shared.
Teacher Bui Thi Ngoc Luong, Principal of Tay Tuu A Primary School, emphasized that this is an activity of educational significance and practical career orientation, contributing to nurturing the desire to become officers and soldiers; at the same time helping students better understand the task of protecting the security of the Fatherland, airspace, seas and islands and maintaining peace.
"The new point implemented in the program is to include English in experiential activities, in line with the policy of making English the second language in schools" - Ms. Luong said.
Ms. Le Thi Gam, Head of Block 4, Tay Tuu A Primary School, said that to prepare for the program, all stages were carefully and thoughtfully implemented, from planning to assigning tasks.
Teachers personally prepared artistic activities, documents, teaching aids, collected and edited documentaries. Activities such as painting, making postcards, and writing letters to soldiers have been popular since the beginning of December, creating an exciting atmosphere for both teachers and students.
"In the spirit of the 2018 General Education Program, teachers must innovate teaching methods and enhance experiential activities. They will have a harder time. However, seeing the students happy and excited is a motivation for them to strive to complete their work" - Ms. Gam said.
Directly participating in experiential activities with her children, Ms. Do Thi Huyen (Tay Tuu, Hanoi) acknowledged the thoughtfulness of the school as well as the meaning of the program.
"I hope that through experiential activities, my child will observe the military's discipline to practice better studying habits," said Ms. Huyen. and expressed his wish that the school would continue to organize many similar experiential activities, not only in the military environment but in many other fields, so that students have the opportunity to learn practically, develop skills and absorb knowledge more effectively.
