42,944 candidates in Hung Yen this afternoon, May 24, came to the exam sites to complete exam procedures, correct errors (if any) and listen to the dissemination of regulations and exam schedules for the 10th grade high school entrance exam for the 2026-2027 school year.
Recorded at the exam council of Hoang Dieu Secondary School (Tra Ly ward), many candidates were present to check personal information and find exam rooms.
Nguyen Tung Lam, a student at Hoang Dieu Secondary School (Tra Ly ward), said that he had prepared carefully for the exam, proactively practiced more questions at home to practice test-taking skills, especially for Math, which is tested in multiple-choice format.
“Initially, I was quite stressed because of the large amount of knowledge, but the closer to the exam day, the more I tried to systemize the core knowledge. At this time, the most important thing is to maintain a comfortable spirit, sleep reasonably and prepare all the papers before entering the exam room” - Lam shared.

Sharing the same feeling, Dao Bao An, a student at Vu Dong Secondary School (Tran Lam ward), said that she is ready to enter the exam after being guided by teachers to review, practice questions and consolidate basic knowledge.
Not only candidates, many parents also accompany and encourage their children before the important exam. Mr. Pham The Duyet, whose child is taking the exam at the Nguyen Trai High School Exam Council (Vu Thu commune), said that his family does not put pressure on achievements but hopes that his child will maintain a calm and confident mentality to do the exam correctly according to their ability.
According to the Hung Yen Department of Education and Training, this year's exam has 42,944 registered candidates, of which 40,721 candidates take the exam for non-specialized public high schools and 2,223 candidates take the exam for specialized high schools. The whole province established 56 exam councils with 1,918 exam rooms, mobilizing nearly 5,973 officials, teachers, staff and forces to participate in service.

At the Examination Council of Le Quy Don High School (Tran Hung Dao ward), Ms. Dang Thi Thuy - Vice Principal, Vice Chairman of the Examination Council - said that the exam site has 728 candidates, arranging 31 official exam rooms and 1 reserve exam room. Preparations for facilities, security, health, fire prevention and fighting and preservation of exam questions and papers have been completed in accordance with regulations.
The work of preventing fraud with high-tech equipment is particularly focused on. In addition, 23 youth union members and local forces were mobilized to support candidates, parents and divert traffic at the exam site.

Previously, on May 20, the Hung Yen Department of Education and Training established 18 inspection teams for the preparation of the 10th grade entrance exam at exam councils in the province.
The inspection content focuses on facilities, security assurance plans, health, fire prevention and fighting, preservation of exam papers and exam papers as well as the implementation of exam regulations at exam sites.

On the morning of June 26, candidates take the English subject multiple-choice test, the test time is 60 minutes; In the afternoon, candidates taking the specialized school exam will take the specialized subject with a test time of 150 minutes.
