Ministry of Education and Training: Stop merging schools beyond scale, comprehensively evaluate options
The Party Committee of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has just sent a document to the Standing Committees of the Provincial Party Committees of provinces and cities requesting a review and rectification of the arrangement of the network of preschool, general education and continuing education institutions. The Ministry of Education and Training noted that many localities have done well, but there are still places that are not suitable for implementation, potentially affecting teaching organization and educational security, especially in disadvantaged areas or densely populated areas.

The Ministry of Education and Training requires localities to basically keep the existing school system, only arrange or merge when really necessary, ensuring convenience for people and students.
The arrangement of branch schools requires a suitable roadmap, prioritizing the maintenance and development of ethnic boarding and semi-boarding school models, ensuring safe travel conditions and not increasing costs and risks for students in remote, isolated, border and island areas. See more...
Slow promotion review affects teachers' rights in Ha Tinh
Many teachers in Ha Tinh have reflected that, despite achieving many outstanding achievements such as excellent teachers at district and provincial levels, excellent lecturers, and participation in training excellent students, they are still "back to" grade III, not yet considered for promotion to grade II.

According to the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh, the consideration of promotion for high school teachers has been carried out once in 2021. However, the new review is currently suspended due to preparations to issue a new Law on Civil Servants. See more...
