Teacher tutoring during summer vacation must register and publicize information
Currently, according to Circular 29/2024/TT-BGDDT, teachers are allowed to teach extra tutoring outside the school during the summer vacation but must report to the Principal about the subject, location, form and time to participate in tutoring.
In case of tutoring with collection of students' money, teachers need to register their business in accordance with the law and publicize information about the subject, duration, location, tutoring time, a list of teachers and tuition collection levels on the web portal or at the place where the tutoring facility is located. At the same time, teachers participating in tutoring must have good moral qualities and professional competence suitable for the subject.
In addition, in Clause 3, Article 5 of Circular 28/2009/TT-BGDD, teachers are entitled to 2 months on summer vacation instead of annual leave and during this time, they still enjoy the salary and allowances (if any). 10th grade enrollment in Ho Chi Minh City, reduced the target but the matriculation rate increased
The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City has announced the 10th grade enrollment target for the 2025-2026 school year for 115 public high schools. This year, about 88,000 students are expected to graduate from junior high school, while the enrollment target is 70,070, equivalent to 79% of students entering public schools - an increase of 14% compared to last year.
Compared to 2024, enrollment targets decreased by about 7,000 students due to the smaller number of 9th grade students. Of which, 69 schools decreased, 21 schools increased and 25 schools kept the target. The three schools have an enrollment target of over 1,000 Mac Dinh Chi High School, Hung Vuong High School and Marie Curie High School, some other schools enrolled over 900 students.
The Department of Education and Training said that the allocation of targets is calculated by residential areas to reduce the pressure on students, of which the suburban schools are assigned targets in accordance with the new rural standards, while the densely populated schools are assigned higher targets. The violence of preschool children in Quang Nam, nanny pleaded guilty
On April 12, Quang Nam Provincial Police investigated the 20 -month -old boy who was abused by a nanny at Con Cung private group (Que My commune, Que Son district). The incident occurred at noon 11.4, when Mrs. N.N.U.L (24 years old), the owner of the facility, had rough behavior like pulling the child out of the bed, hitting him and poking into his mouth to stop crying. This behavior was recorded by the camera and the parents discovered and reported to the police.
The functional forces sealed a camera memory card, 1 plastic bar and related items, and took N.P.D.K (SN 2023) to the hospital for a health check, identifying damage.
At the police office, Ms. L. admitted that all violations were recorded in the video. The group of children who are licensed to operate in 2020, with a maximum number of 7 children but have exceeded the prescribed number.
