A series of important tips for 12th graders
The burden of work increases, teachers expect new salary policy
From 2026, when the Law on Teachers comes into effect, the salary policy in the education sector will have many important changes. The new draft Decree stipulates that all teachers are entitled to a special salary coefficient and many types of allowances according to the nature of their work. This is not only a step to improve income but also a recognition of the silent contributions of teachers in the context of increasingly high professional requirements.

Teachers are currently under a lot of work pressure, from teaching expertise to electronic records, reports, movements, competitions... causing the time fund to be divided into smaller and the pressure to increase significantly. Many teachers such as Ms. Phan Bich Phuong - a teacher at Hong Phong Kindergarten (Dong Dang commune, Lang Son province) said that the time to prepare documents even exceeds the time to teach. Therefore, salary adjustment is expected to help teachers feel secure about their finances and continue to be dedicated to their profession.
In disadvantaged areas, teachers still face a shortage of facilities, dangerous roads and the task of maintaining student numbers. These challenges make expectations for the new salary policy even greater. Teachers hope that the treatment regime will be applied promptly and fairly between all levels of education and the region, so that they have more motivation to stick together and contribute to the education career. Continuous shortage of art teachers in Ho Chi Minh City
For many consecutive years, Ho Chi Minh City has lacked teachers, especially in the subjects of Music, Fine Arts, History - Geography, Information Technology, Technology and Team Management. Despite organizing the first round of teacher recruitment for the 2025-2026 school year, many schools still do not recruit enough students. Some schools only have 1-2 candidates or no one has registered, forced to invite guest lecturers and increase the number of classes for existing teachers.

Schools said that the lack of teachers has caused the number of classes to increase, increasing the pressure on the existing team. Hoang Hoa Tham, Ha Huy Tap, Nguyen Du Secondary School all encountered difficulties in arts and integrated subjects. Even if some schools can recruit a part of the quota, it is still difficult to find someone to take on positions like the General Director of the Team.
The main reason for the shortage of teachers is the decrease in pedagogical training sources, especially in the arts with few students. Many bachelor's degrees in pedagogical practice choose other careers because of their better income. The position of Team Manager requires two types of certificates and a lot of work, but the treatment is not commensurate, making recruitment even more difficult. See more...
