Disciplinary action will be taken against teachers who violate regulations on extra teaching
Circular 29 of the Ministry of Education and Training, effective from February 14, regulates extra teaching and learning to bring this activity to the actual needs of students and parents. Teachers who need to teach extra classes outside must report to the principal. If they violate the law, they will be disciplined according to Decree 112, with a fine ranging from a reprimand to forced resignation, or an administrative fine of VND 5-50 million depending on the level.

Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong emphasized the viewpoint of "5 no's" (no commitment, no transformation, no talking difficult but not doing...) and "4 promotes" ( roll of educational management, sense of responsibility of teachers, self-study awareness of students, school - family - social relationship). At the same time, it is necessary to innovate teaching methods, improve the quality of regular school hours and communicate about the harmful effects of extra teaching and learning that are not in accordance with regulations. Students who do not take extra classes can still complete exams well
Mr. Thai Van Tai, Director of the Department of Primary Education (Ministry of Education and Training), affirmed that students can still complete exams well with only basic knowledge, without having to take extra classes. The test and assessment content will not exceed the curriculum, including the entrance exam. The Ministry of Education and Training has tightened the issuance of exam questions, ensuring that they are consistent with the program's requirements, helping students achieve good results if they focus on studying in class.

The Director of the Department of Primary Education emphasized that only a small number of students who want to take international competitions or enter specialized schools need to take extra classes, while for regular exams, the concern about knowledge shortages is unfounded. reality shows that many valedictorians come from rural areas, where there are no extra teaching centers, proving that students can completely achieve high results with the teaching of teachers in class.
