Hundreds of teachers in Ha Long register for extra teaching business

Đoàn Hưng |

Quang Ninh - On February 25, according to information from the People's Committee of Ha Long City, in recent days, the locality has recorded more than 600 business registration applications in the education sector.

From January 1, 2025 to now, Ha Long city has received 850 business registration applications, of which more than 600 applications are in the education sector.

Most of the application winners are teachers at private schools in the area.

The main reason for the sudden increase in the number of applications is that on December 30, 2024, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Circular 29/2024/TT-BGDDT on extra teaching and learning, replacing Circular 17/2012.

According to the new regulations effective from February 14, 2025, individuals and organizations providing additional teaching must register for business.

Faced with this reality, the People's Committee of Ha Long City has implemented a new business household registration process, integrating the tax code into the Business Registration Certificate.

The highlight of the process is to shorten the time to process documents from 6 working days to only 4 hours, instead of going through many stages as before.
