Notably, among the school's nearly 4,000 new students, 11 won first prize in the National Excellent Student Competition in the subjects of History, Geography, Chemistry and Literature.
Sharing with Lao Dong, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Son - Principal of Hanoi National University of Education - informed that this year the school received about 300 applications from candidates who won national student awards in many different subjects. All of them were admitted directly to the school. Of these, about 1/3 of them have already enrolled.
"The number of national excellent students enrolling in the school is very large and stable over the years. Just counting the History Department alone, this year there are 25 new students who have won national excellent student awards. The number of candidates who have won provincial excellent student awards enrolling in the school is very large" - Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Son said and believed that this is a good sign, showing that the social perspective on the Pedagogy industry is changing a lot.
As one of 11 new students who won first prize in the national excellent student contest, Nguyen Thanh Xuan (Bac Ninh) arrived early to complete the admission procedures.
"Today is the first day I officially became a student of the school. I also got to know many new friends from different provinces. I feel very happy and excited" - she expressed.
Thanh Xuan was a student at Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted. In 2024, she won the first prize in the national excellent student competition in History and was also the valedictorian of the C00 block nationwide with a score of 29.75.

According to the reporter, the work of welcoming students to Hanoi National University of Education was carefully and thoughtfully prepared. It only took them about 10 minutes to complete the procedures. In addition to welcoming students at the desks, the school also organized many meaningful activities to welcome new students.
