On the afternoon of May 20, talking to the reporter of the Lao Dong newspaper by phone, Mr. Le Quang Tri - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Tien Giang Province - said that after grasping the case of the Principal of Nguyen Van Tiep High School (Tan Phuoc District, Tien Giang Province), there was an open letter for the high school graduation exam in 2025, the Department of Education and Training of Tien Giang Province asked the Principal of this school to revoke the school's high school examination.
"The fact that the principal of Nguyen Van Tiep High School sent an open letter from parents to raise funds to serve the high school graduation exam is not in accordance with regulations," Mr. Le Quang Tri affirmed.

Previously, on May 2, Mr. Nguyen Van Nam - Principal of Nguyen Van Tiep High School signed an open letter on supporting the funding for the 2025 high school graduation exam.
According to the content in the open letter, in the high school graduation exam in 2024, in addition to the mental factor, the school has also received a part of the funding from parents to support the successful organization of the exam.
This year's exam, the school also hopes to contribute a part of the cost to support the school in organizing meals and accommodation for teachers on duty from afar. Although we know that the state has allocated funds for the supervision of exams for teachers to do their duties, the contributions of parents will have profound meaning for teachers from afar who come to do their duties at the school.
Therefore, the school coordinated with the school's Parents' Representative Board to kindly support this exam, depending on each parent's ability. The school respectfully welcomes and sends thanks to all parents.
The school will use the parents' contributions for the right purpose, the school is not required to contribute but in the spirit of parents' voluntary contributions.
