Students at a branch school in Quang Binh have returned to school

Quang Binh - After Lao Dong Newspaper's reflection on the fact that students at Tan My branch school have not returned to school after Tet, they have now returned to school.

On February 27, students at Tan My satellite school (Quang Phuc Primary School No. 1, Quang Phuc Ward, Ba Don Town, Quang Binh) returned to study at the main school.

The above information was confirmed by Mr. Phan Tien Lam - Principal of Quang Phuc Primary School No. 1. Mr. Lam said that it is a good thing for students to return to school after the interruption.

The school has fully arranged facilities at the school to ensure the best learning conditions for the students. The classrooms are equipped with tables and chairs, blackboards, TVs, and functional rooms such as IT, music, English... to meet teaching and living needs.

Immediately after the students returned to school, the school assigned teachers to organize compensatory teaching to help them keep up with the program. Teachers will not only teach during regular classes but also increase extracurricular teaching, on weekends... This is to ensure that students do not lack knowledge and keep up with the general progress of the curriculum.

The school's board of directors affirmed that they will continue to closely monitor the learning situation of students, creating the best conditions for them to stabilize their studies after the interruption.

As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on February 6, after the Lunar New Year holiday, 154 students at Tan My school (Quang Phuc Primary School No. 1, Quang Phuc Ward) were still unable to return to class because parents opposed the decision to move from the branch school to study at the main school.

People said that the main school is nearly 2km from the branch school, making traveling difficult, so they want to continue studying at this school.

The People's Committee of Ba Don town said that at this school, there are 7 classrooms that are no longer safe.

Tan My branch school was built a long time ago and is easily affected by natural disasters. Therefore, the government has invited the Construction Quality Inspection Center (Quang Binh Department of Construction) for on-site inspection.

All 7 classrooms are seriously degraded. Many parts of the structure are no longer able to withstand the load, causing local danger and cannot continue to be used normally. Therefore, the People's Committee of Ba Don town decided to temporarily close Tan My branch school and transfer all students to the main school - which has better facilities, spacious campus and full learning equipment.
